The Joseph Swift family were friends of von Berg and assembled the material in this collection. Included are photographs and post cards of von Berg, his wife Martha, adopted son Jack Crawford, their home on East Mountain near Fayetteville, and individuals from the Sioux and Comanche tribes. Also included are post cards von Berg and his family sent to the Swifts and others in Arkansas. All post cards have messages on verso.

The collection consists of a scrapbook likely created by Norma Mae Bigger of Fayetteville, Arkansas; it includes photographs of Fayetteville; photos and clippings related to Bigger family members, and particularly to her brother Ed Bigger's service in World War I; and autograph pages signed by people living in Fayetteville as well as by Bigger family members and others living elsewhere. Also included is a 1914 postcard addressed to Norma Bigger.

Sarah Burnside Papers Relating to the Fayetteville Arts Center Board
The collection consists of meeting minutes, studies, fundraising materials, and other records related to planning for a fine arts center in Fayetteville in the 1980s, as collected and created by Sarah Burnside, a member of the Fayetteville Fine Arts Center Board. The Board's planning work was a precursor to the establishment of what eventually became the Walton Arts Center.
Jewell Hughes Bushey Papers
The collection contains personal correspondence, including letters to Jewell Hughes Bushey from her lifelong friend and colleague, Jobelle Holcombe. There are also pertinent documents and records of Bushey's academic career at the University of Arkansas and Hunter. The photographs are primarily of Jewell Hughes Bushey and her family and they include photographs of the Hughes home in Fayetteville.

Land grants, correspondence and other material pertaining to William H. Cardwell's acquisition of lands northwest of Fayetteville, Arkansas, 1849-1860; to the war experiences of his son, Thomas A. Cardwell, on duty in Mississippi as a private in Co. E, 1st Battalion, Arkansas Cavalry, Confederate States Army, 1861-1863; and to the granting of post-war amnesty to his son, Adison F. Cardwell of Washington County, Arkansas, 1866.

Material concerning Fairy Coffin Lynd includes biographical information on her work as a soil scientist. Of special note are late nineteenth and early twentieth century photographs and photographic post cards of St. Paul and Fayetteville.
